Letters are slowly becoming an old fashioned way of communicating, but still a lot of the world relies on them as not everyone has access to telephones or the internet. This is true for remote villages, in this case, the village of Búðardalur, Iceland.
An Icelandic tourist wanted their letter to reach the destination but didn’t remember the address of the recipient, so they came up with the next best thing, drawing a map of their house!
To the recipients surprise, they received it as the village is quite small and easy to naviage around, even if the map is a very basic sketch. Bravo to the Icelandic postal services!
Others went on to comment about hoe they have posted raw potatoes in the mail with just an address and stamp to see how well the postal services fair across the globe, and surprise to say that many have said it works like a charm!
