They Are On Stage With Nothing But A Piano And A Cello. Without Singing, They Perform Wonders! 1k

When Leonard Cohen first wrote and released “Hallelujah”, he had no idea it would become the phenomenon that it is in modern music. It’s just one of those songs that everyone automatically knows and could listen to on end without ever getting bored or tired of.

While the lyrics to the song are beautiful, the background music is just as astonishing. Brooklyn Duo, Marnie Laird (piano) and Patrick Laird (cello), felt the background music needed more attention for it to be admired for its beauty. They hired out an empty hall for their performance and played their instruments wonderfully.

This gives a whole new experience to the song and it’s just as beautiful as the real deal, if not better!
