Spoiled Teen Flips Off The Judge In The Middle Of Her Case At Court And It Doesn’t End Well For Her! 6k
You might have heard of 18 year old Penelope Soto from Miami, Florida before, but if you haven’t then pay attention because she’s about to be served a huge serving of karma. When asked some preliminary questions about her and what she does, she claims that she “owns a lot of jewellery” and says it with a smug face and naming all of the designer brands.
The judge notices that she isn’t being serious in the court and has to remind her that this isn’t a public gathering nor a club, and that the court and judge must be treated with seriousness and respect. The judge then goes on to ask her if she’s used or been in contact with any drugs in the past 24 hours, to which she unconfidently says no, leaving the judge asking questions about her current state.
Initially her bail was set at $5,000 for the count of drug possession but as she was leaving the courtroom with such a smug look and tone of voice, the judge called her back to tell her that he was doubling her bail for her lack of respect.
“Are you serious?” Soto asked. The judge replied, “I am serious. Adios.”
It was then that Penelope supposedly stuck up her middle finger to swear at the Florida judge and shout some obscene language at him. He instantly brought down the hammer of justice on her and added a further sentence to her case, criminal contempt in court and ordered her to be locked in a county jail for 30 days.
