Son Stands To Sing With His Dying Soldier Father One Last Time And It Has Everyone In Tears 14k

Lt. Col. Mark Weber of the Minnesota National Guard served his country valiantly for many years and never thought he’d make it this far. In the end it was cancer that got him. Here he was diagnosed with stage four cancer and wanted to make the most of his time left in the world, especially with his son.

He stood to sing “Tell My Father” with his eldest son at the Minnesota History Center in Saint Paul.

After singing the song beautifully, the whole family burst into tears of joy and sadness. Happy that they have many joyful memories of their brave father but also knowing that he’d soon be taken from them.
