Poor Street Kid Sings “I Will Always Love You” Just Like Whitney Houston On A Karaoke 2k

Roel Manlangit doesn’t appear to by the type with a big powerful voice behind him, but when he starts singing, he certainly get’s head turning his direction.

His family was hit badly by the 2012 Typhoon Pablo, which severely affected their province of Bukidnon, Philippines. Living almost homeless and surviving through the help of friends and the community, young Roel turned his and his family’s life around when he appear on Phillipines Got Talent 2013, winning the competition and becoming one of the youngest ever to do so.

Before he managed to get to that stage, he was seen on the streets of his neighborhood entering a local singing competition, which was essentially a karaoke machine set up and kids could enter for a very small prize.

Roel chose to sing Whitney Houston’s classic “I Will Always Love You” and you’ll have a hard time telling if he’s singing it for real or not, but he is!
