Dolores O’Riordan of the iconic Irish band from the 90’s, the Cranberries, has died while visiting London, U.K, at 46-years-old.
The news was initially kept hidden from the public, but has since been released on January 15th.
She was in London for a recording session, as she had done many times before. No other details were made available to the public outside of her family and friends.
Dolores was known for her active singing career in Ireland, starting from the early 90’s and creating one of the most successful bands of the time, selling tens of millions of copes of their records and albums across the world.
After a 6 year hiatus from the band, they Cranberries came back together again in 2009 to tour across Europe and North America.
Many celebrities and friends have come forward to pay their tribute to an icon and a legend.
