The only thing a child really wants is their parents to be around them all the time. But when Jennifer Bricker was born without legs, her parents abandoned her the day she was born, not wanting to raise a disabled child and all the ‘trouble’ that came with it. She was given up for adoption, Sharon and her husband Gerald took her home to raise her as their own. They only had one rule for Jennifer as she grew up, she wasn’t allowed to say the word “can’t”. They wanted her to be able to do everything she ever wanted and always encouraged her to follow her dreams. She started gymnastics at 7 years old on a trampoline with her dad. Soon later she was competing and them dominating, becoming a champion of her school and going on to become even bigger.
