Down Syndrome Education International (DSEI) have stated that “Very few people with down syndrome will ever be able to sing”. The condition makes it tough for them to do so due to their inability to use the correct vocal chords.

This brave girl is Madison Tevlin. She was born with Down Syndrome and it has been her dream to sing and perform like her favorite stars. Studies show that it takes twice the amount of vocal energy just for anyone with DS to be able to talk, so singing requires much more. Madison doesn’t give up, ever. She was determined to fight all odds and to sing, and she did!
