The Animal Advocates Society of BC found an old dog chained in outside some cabins, with no sign of the poor dog ever being released from that chain over ten years. Living outside without a blanket, kennel, toys and often sometimes food, it had been a tough ten years for the neglected dog, often having to live in its own excrement.
Neighbours would often complain to authorities that the dog was being mistreated, but it never went further than that. They said they even saw the dog being urinated on by its owners while they laughed. When she was finally rescued, they learned the extent of her poor condition, and had to take quick action to set thing right.
