Everyone’s got an old relic stored away in a part of their house, where all the ‘old and unused’ stuff go. But what if there was a fortune hiding right below your nose?

One man took a watch he bought back in the 1960’s while he was serving in WWII to the Antiques Roadshow to see what it would be worth. He bought it in Germany, by a recommendation from his sergeant. Before he was coming back to the states, he picked out a Rolex for himself and his father to bring back home, despite knowing nothing about the brand itself.

He kept the original watch, paperwork and boxes intact all this time, and was speechless when he learned it’s current value.
